How We Test Every Game We Review
People sometimes ask how long we spend with a game before writing about it. The honest answer is: as long as it takes to have something real to say.
The first thing we do is switch the phone to airplane mode. If the game breaks or refuses to load, it fails our basic offline test on the spot.
After that it's just playing. We track how the controls feel, how often it saves, whether the difficulty is fair, and how it treats your battery. We take rough notes the whole time.
Only then do we write. The score comes last, once we've actually lived with the game for a while. No trailers, no shortcuts.
